My mom recently got into SUPER BEAVER and wanted to go to a concert, so I got tickets for their first ever two-day show at Tokyo Dome. But then her favorite K-POP group announced a concert, and since they'll be going into military service next year, she said she wanted to go to that instead. I readily agreed, telling her to have fun. We're such close geek friends.
"Please don't hurt my brother anymore" and "I don't want to be alone" are such truly memorable scenes that I still cry just thinking about them...
Mocchan, who could arguably be called the other main character of the Tagusari Brothers, was truly, truly wonderful. He was a presence that embodied kindness and love, and was an oasis for the brothers and the viewers. It's amazing that a man in his 60s is practically in the heroine position in a work with a revenge theme like this, and Yamanaka-san is incredible for making that believable.
The Tagusari Brothers are, of course, a fantastic drama, but I was also struck by how perfectly their interpretations matched: they portrayed Masaki Okada as the most beautiful creature in the world and Shota Sometani as the most innocent creature in the world. Shota Sometani's crying scene was deeply moving, and at the same time, it was so visually stunning that I was moved to tears realizing that the director must have wanted to capture this beautiful composition.
I started watching it casually because I like the two main actors, but I got hooked and watched it all in one go. I cried throughout the second half. It was so heartbreaking and lovely that it hurts just thinking about it. The acting of the two main actors was outstanding, and I think their crying scenes will go down in drama history as some of the most memorable. It's cruel and beautiful to think that it must be the truth between Makoto and Minoru. I love Mocchan.
I absolutely love this cover. I must really love Soya Igari's face...
Having NEWS as their promotional photo is just too good.
I'm so excited for NEWS's shuffle medley! 💜💛💚🏆🥇🏅💮
Looking at the lineup for the FNS Music Festival collaborations that came out today, NEWS seems to be by far the oldest group, and I'm truly grateful to be included in it. I can't thank FNS Music Festival enough for always loving NEWS.
Masuda has always been good at showcasing both cuteness and coolness since he was young, but it's truly amazing how he can create brand promotions that utilize Masuda Takahisa's unique qualities in a way that no one else can imitate.
I feel like Takahisa Masuda is the only celebrity in the world who could launch his own brand and have such a cute advertising slogan. He's the cutest genius ever! 🏆🥇🏅💮
I absolutely love this episode because it perfectly encapsulates Uesugi's kindness.
SUPER
Frontline is told from the perspective of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT), and the line spoken by Shun Oguri, who is in charge, and Yosuke Kubozuka, who is the field commander, "We'll do whatever we can. I really like what Yuki-chan (Shun Oguri) always says," was so memorable that when I looked up DMAT, this was the top of their website, and it brought me to tears.
"Frontline," a film based on a true story about a cluster of infections on a large cruise ship during the COVID-19 pandemic, was incredible. Watching it on TV, I realized how many people were desperately trying to cope even though no one knew the right answer. Shun Oguri, Yosuke Kubozuka, and Tori Matsuzaka were fantastic. I felt I should be forever grateful to the medical professionals who worked during that time.
I binge-watched "Grand Maison Tokyo Special," "Grand Maison Paris," "Nankai MER," and "Frontline," and I'm filled with entertainment that shows people working hard and taking pride in their work. I love business-related shows so much, I want to see more and more of them. I could watch them forever. Also, as always, Tsutomu Kuroiwa's scripts are amazing.
Masuda Takahisa's ema (votive tablet) is incredibly charming and just amazing.
I'm so excited 😭🏆🥇🏅💮
NEWS, who are having fun chatting on their voices in the Reiwa era, are the most peaceful people in the world, please stay with us forever. #NEWS_KMK
Welcome back 👏 There will be a general sale! Tokyo and Osaka will probably be very competitive, but I think it will be relatively easier to get tickets in Hokkaido, Miyagi, and Fukuoka! Once the results are announced, there will probably be some tickets being transferred, so it might be a good idea to have an account! I hope you can see NEWS after so long!
The fact that they even have fried rice with Masuda-san is just too adorable.
As both Masuda and his fans have grown older, I deeply appreciate how much I love Takahisa Masuda, who has his fans sing, "Hey, will you still kiss me when we're old ladies?"
I think the number of applications will be used as one of the indicators, so if you've purchased it, please do so!👏👏👏 If you haven't purchased it yet, please do so!👏👏👏
Please tell me about your thoughts on "Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Pleasure 2" and how Takahisa Masuda is the best! 🙇♀️
I absolutely adore the way Niji looks down after sneezing and then smiles with a リ`▽´ノリ face; it's so incredibly cute that it drives me crazy no matter how many times I see it.
Regarding the issue of the "sneeze" in "Rainbow" from "Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Pleasure 2" being too cute, Takahisa Masuda (39) sometimes shows off an adorable cuteness that makes him look like he's about 5 years old, and it's truly the best. He's remained the same cute Massu since "Pokopon Pekorya," and it really saves my life. I'm savoring the happiness of being able to say he's always cute.
In the super-funny talk show, Takahisa Masuda was teaching us how to apply perfume, which was incredibly charming, but when the fans were completely smitten, he said, "Put some on your wrists, ankles, and even your nipples! Hahaha," which was great because it really shows that Masuda has a disease where he'll die if he doesn't make jokes. Also, it was rare to hear Masuda-san say "nipples," so I was excited.
I want to dress up my cat, Masu-chan, but finding the right size is proving difficult, so I've been admiring other people's Masu-chans in cute outfits, thinking how nice it would be.
I was looking to add KMK and register for the purchase bonus when I saw Masuda-san and Jin-san standing side by side.
It was incredibly cute when Masuda-san called Nekomasu "Kitty Kitty ♡" in a sweet, cat-like voice. So Nekomasu's nickname is "Kitty Kitty"...🐱🎀
I saw a video, and it seems like Hey! Say! JUMP is doing a dating reality show within the group!?!?!
The Eric Carle exhibition was filled with love in every single exhibit. I absolutely loved this description: "It's a magical frame for discovering the beauty of this world." I could feel the love the exhibition organizers put into that statement.
Seeing the history of Eric Carle's work at the exhibition, I got the impression that he is drawn to small creatures in a vast world. There are many contrasts between insects and large things. It was fun to think about how the real-life incident of the toy duck that ended up in the ocean must have deeply affected him. The duck is so cute.
Masu-chan the cat is worried about the caterpillar that's crying because it has a stomach ache 🐛🐱
I went to the Eric Carle exhibition. I had lots of books at home when I was little, but the very first book I loved was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," so it made me feel happy all the time. 🐛
I love how in UR not alone, after the final chorus, Koyama and Masuda stop singing, and it often becomes a solo by Kato Shigeaki. But in STORY, there's something extra about Kato Shigeaki's voice, and even just listening to the recording gave me goosebumps and almost made me cry. It's definitely NEWS's Kato Shigeaki singing...
I've been listening to the live recordings a lot, and I think this sequence of "music" is a beautifully structured piece that will go down in NEWS's history.
It's a cat, it's a cat 😸😸🎀
This is just my impression, but I really love idol songs where you can feel that their singing style developed because they were in that particular group. For example, Shigeaki Kato from NEWS, Shota Yasuda from SUPER EIGHT, Ryusei Fujii from WEST, and Hokuto Matsumura from SixTONES. It's really touching to see how their singing style was influenced by the group's image and its members.
I saw Nakano-san on MELT and became a fan, and I've been watching her ever since. She was the first skater I ever had a favorite of.
I took a photo with my friend's favorite idol and posted my thoughts about the live show on a different fandom account, and she was so happy when her idol liked and replied to it. Afterwards, my friend went to see her idol and heard that he said, "Your friend is just like you, she's good at writing! He wrote so many nice things!" Hearing that made me think he's an angel, so I'll definitely go again.
I realized how much I love Takahisa Masuda, who sings with all his heart, who has no doubt that his fans love him, and who always looks at the audience with such genuine happiness. Takahisa Masuda, who continues to make me feel that way, is truly the best idol.
It's so cute, I could look at it forever.
There were so many photos on Instagram, and it made me happy to see how much Masuda-san enjoyed The MELT from the bottom of his heart. I'm glad that Masuda-san's BIG LOVE shows us all of his memories because he couldn't choose just a few. I think it's wonderful to have him share the fun and happy moments just as they are.
So, Masuda Takahisa, bathed in rainbow-colored lights and wearing rainbow-colored clothes at the center of the link, represents the "rainbow"...🌈
I've been to my fair share of events like photo sessions and meet-and-greets, but this was the first time I'd ever experienced such overwhelming love—expressing such profound emotions, like those I write about on X, and having the other person genuinely receive them, be happy, and lean forward eagerly to hear more. As someone who loves to put things into words, I was shaken. My feelings reached my idol so deeply.
Even my friends who aren't Johnny's fans asked me, "There was a group of people in Kawasaki carrying Nekomasu (cat-shaped masks), was Masuda-san involved in anything?" It's funny how Nekomasu's popularity is slowly but surely increasing.
The yellow ribbon on this costume was the largest ribbon on the back, and I felt a sense of BIG LOVE for Takahisa Masuda.
